KUALA LUMPUR: Asian champion S. Sivasangari breezed into the second round of the Paris Squash tournament with a convincing win over veteran Sarah-Jane Perry today.
The world No. 10 Malaysian defeated the Englishwoman 11-8, 7-11, 11-8, 11-3 in 35 minutes.
Sivasangari will next face fifth seed Olivia Weaver of the United States for a place in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, national No. 2 Rachel Arnold was knocked out in the first round, losing 11-5, 11-1, 11-2 to fourth seed Nele Gilis of Belgium.
