KUALA LUMPUR: Asian squash champion Ng Eain Yow put up a gallant fight against Egypt's world No. 5 Mazen Hesham before bowing out in the first round of the US$190,000 Qatar Classic in Doha today (Sept 30).
The Malaysian world No. 13 started brightly by winning the first set 11-7 but Mazen won the next two, 11-6, 11-3.
Eain Yow rallied to win the next set 11-6. But Mazen won the deciding set 11-6.
The gruelling match lasted 57 minutes.
