KUALA LUMPUR – World No. 13 Ng Eain Yow crashed out in the first round of the US$190,000 US Open in Philadelphia yesterday (Oct 20).
The Asian champion was outclassed 11-7, 11-4, 11-6 by world No. 2 Mostafa Asal of Egypt in just 49 minutes.
With Eain Yow's defeat, the Malaysian challenge in the US Open has come to an end.
