Bus crashes into Singapore Terminal 3 road blocker, 21 injured

SINGAPORE: A bus on service 858 crashed into a road blocker at Changi Airport Terminal 3 yesterday (May 21) after the security barrier had been lifted for the bus to proceed.

According to the The Straits Times report, the road blockers are intended to prevent unauthorised vehicles that might pose security threats from entering the airport premises.

Tower Transit communications and customer experience director Glenn Lim informed The Straits Times that the bus driver and 21 passengers sustained injuries in the incident, which occurred at 12:40pm.

A video has been circulating on social media showing the bus with significant damage to its front doors.

A baby can also be heard crying. The camera captures a male passenger slumped on the floor near the rear doors, while a female passenger is seen in the aisle towards the rear, holding a tissue to her nose and speaking on the phone, with blood visible on her forehead.
