PUTRAJAYA: An accident involving a lorry carrying steel plates and a container lorry at KM16 of the Elite Highway (north bound) had caused a nine-kilometre crawl along the highway.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) tweeted about the accident at about 3.45pm, stating that a lorry had overturned and obstructed traffic flow on the left and middle lane of the highway.
LLM spokesperson said the lorry carrying steel plates from Putrajaya to Bandar Saujana Putra hit the container lorry, causing it to lose control and overturn.
"Road clearance is currently underway," the authority said when contacted today.
