KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd’s independent and non-executive Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin Mohd Harun Narrashid has resigned due to “professional and personal reasons”.
Ehsanuddin was a former member on the Felda Investment Corp (FIC) board of directors.
He was summoned by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) amid investigation into the purchase of a luxury hotel in London by FIC.
Other than Ehsanuddin, two two other former members on the FIC board of directors,Datuk Nik Azman Mohamed Zain and Datuk Dr Omar Salim were also summoned by MACC for questioning.
MACC is currently investigating FIC’s purchase of a property in Kensington, London between 2013 and 2015, for a total of £60 million (RM330 million).
FIC is the investment arm of Felda.
