KUALA LUMPUR: A TikTok video showing many female students of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Lendu walking to their induction week, or Minggu Destini Siswa, at dawn has garnered social media users' attention.
The caption for the video, posted by @lynnnesss, stated the students had to wake up at 4am and walk to their induction week session to endure 12 hours of the session for a week.
She also claimed that they could only perform their prayers for five minutes and had to compete for their food with thousands of other students.
Commenting on the video, many university alumni said the induction week was one of the most memorable moments they had during their days.
The video, they said, made them miss the entire experience of university life.
There were also humourous comments about a typo in the caption which read "no shuffle" instead of the obvious "no shuttle (bus)".
User @theikhqid said people rarely have to "shuffle" at 4am while @faridrosli5 sarcastically said maybe the student would learn to differentiate between "shuttle" and "shuffle" upon her graduation.
Other social media users, however, were more encouraging, wishing @lynnnesss success in her studies.
