KUALALUMPUR: Yes 5G from YTL Communications has become Apple's latest network partner in Malaysia, offering uncapped speed and data.
Yes 5G will offer Apple's latest products, including the all-new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with a colourful new design, the Dynamic Island, an advanced camera system including a powerful 48MP main camera with a new 2x Telephoto option, A16 Bionic chip, and USB-C.
It will also offer the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with a strong and lightweight titanium design, a powerful 48MP main camera system enabling the equivalent of seven pro lenses, an A17 Pro chip, and USB-C.
The iPhone 15 lineup will be available from today at Yes stores and authorised dealers.
Wing K. Lee, chief executive officer of YTL Communications, said today marks a turning point for Yes 5G as it embarks on a new chapter, welcoming its newest network partner in Malaysia.
"It's been a long journey to get where we are today, but we're proud to announce that we are now fully certified to be Apple's newest partner in Malaysia, accompanying the iOS 17.1 release.
"The new iPhone deserves the best 5G network in Malaysia, and we're proud to announce that we will be offering Malaysia's most affordable iPhone plans as we welcome Apple into the fray of Yes 5G's lineup of products," he said at the unveiling today.
Wing said Malaysians will be able to enjoy RM0 upfront payment, the lowest monthly instalments, and uncapped data and speeds at no extra charge.
Yes 5G customers will be able to get the iPhone for as low as RM21 per month, alongside all the other benefits that the telco offers.
With these rates, more Malaysians will be able to get their hands on the newest iPhone and enjoy Yes 5G's speeds uncapped.
"In the past, we've had the benefit of working with leading devices like Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, ZTE and Honor, to name a few," he said.
With availability of the iPhone 15 lineup, Yes 5G is also offering customers an opportunity to own an iPhone 15 for just RM1 at the Yes 11.11 Sale Day.
It will also have over RM20,000 worth of freebies, including Apple accessories, and a free Nvidia GeForce Now subscription.
Wing said Yes 5G's rollout of 5G is considered one of the fastest in the world.
Today, Yes 5G has provided 5G coverage to more than 70 per cent of Malaysia, and it is targeting to bump the numbers up to 80 per cent by the end of 2023.
