Tenaga Nasional was a top gainer today after it obtained a RM1 million summary judgment against the owner of Capital O Unicorn Hotel for payment arrears.
The stock was up 10 sen or 0.73 per cent to RM13.82.
The 30-stock key index opened higher on Monday as buying resumed following the US Federal Reserve's cue for rate cuts.
The index will likely hover within the 1,635 to 1,645 range today.
Bitcoin fell to RM278,004 as selling pressure continued due to a surge in long liquidations.
Ethereum fell to RM11,969, while Solana was lower at RM690.
