KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd has named Raja Nurmaria Murni Raja Nur Azmi as its new executive director for group corporate affairs, covering Malaysia and Singapore.
She succeeds Datuk Adnan Pawanteh in this role.
Murni, who has been with Nestle since 2011, started as a media and advertising manager, where she managed media strategies and campaigns for the company's Malaysian brands.
In 2015, she took on the role of Milo Senior Brand Manager, later becoming Consumer Marketing Manager, where she was instrumental in maintaining Milo's market leadership in Malaysia.
In 2021, Murni joined Nestlé S.A.'s headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland, as global brand manager for plant-based beverages within the dairy strategic business unit.
Nestle said her strategic expertise and innovative approach as key contributors to the growth of this emerging category.
"Most recently, she served as Global Brand Lead for Milo & Nescau, where she spearheaded global strategies, including sustainability-focused communication and innovation initiatives.
"Murni's proven track record in leadership, brand stewardship and her ability to navigate complex markets make her uniquely suited to lead the group corporate affairs function."
