New Kia Grand Carnival is big on space

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Kia Malaysia reveals that the new Kia Grand Carnival is designed to maximise space through flexibility.

Of the highlight is the new Multiflex seats variation which Naza says, allows an adjustable seating layout to meet the needs of the modern family.

"The New Grand Carnival offers dynamic Multiflex seating configurations whether it is for 6, 7, 8 or 11 occupants which make it ideal for those who are looking for a more flexible space and capacity, be it having more passengers on board or traveling with their luggage," said Naza Corporation Holdings' automotive group chief executive officer Datuk Nik Hamdam Nik Hassan.

Other new upgrades of the 18-inch wheeled Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) includes a new roof rack, automatic windows with safety lock, 7.0-inch touchscreen HMI (human-machine interface) which houses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition at the steering wheel control and an additional USB charging port on its fourth row.

The 8-speed automatic transmission front-wheel drive MPV is powered by a 2.2-litre TCI diesel engine that produces 200PS at 3,800rpm and maximum torque of 440Nm from 1,750rpm.

The MPV's front features the halogen projector head and fog lamps, power sliding doors on both sides, a 3.5-inch mono LCD cluster meter and shark-fin antenna.

It is priced at RM179,888 on-the-road without insurance and comes with five years manufacturer's warranty - terms and condition apply.

Colour options are available in Snow White Pearl, Silky Silver, Aurora Black Pearl and Panthera Metal.
