The Hamadaya Japanese Seasoning Soy Sauce serves as the main ingredient of this exclusive Soy-Desuka ice cream. The halal-certified Caramel Soy Sauce Ice Cream is without any artificial flavourings or preservatives.
"We believe that a collaboration like this would strike the interest of both Hamadaya's and Inside Scoop's customers. Moreover, with the Japanese culture being well-received and adopted in Malaysian society, it is about time an innovation such as this comes into the market," says Lili Ho, vice-president of marketing at Hamadaya/Heritage Foods.
Founded in 1818 in Kumamoto, Japan, Hamadaya in Malaysia offers three soy sauces: Premium Soy Sauce, Seasoning Soy Sauce, and Reduced Salt Soy Sauce; and one oyster sauce: Oyster Essence Sauce. The award-winning and internationally recognised sauces are halal-certified and ready-to-use.
