PUTRAJAYA: Newlywed Yunalis Mat Zara’ai is one happily married woman.
The Crush singer who tied the knot yesterday with director Adam Sinclair gushed on how she felt moments before the solemnisation ceremony took place.
“I was excited, a little nervous of course but overall it was beautiful. I’m so happy.”
“My wedding was everything I’d ever imagined.
“It has always been a dream of mine to get married in a garden-themed wedding. Despite the brief rain, we continued with the ceremony and had a great time,” said the Los Angeles-based singer, when met at a press conference at Putrajaya International Convention Centre today.
Yuna who was accompanied by Adam by her side, also addressed why details of their “akad nikah” ceremony was kept a secret.
“I have always been the type of person who is very open to share my career updates, but when it comes to my personal life, I like to keep it private.
“Especially with a big occasion like our wedding, we just wanted to celebrate it in an intimate and private affair with our family and close friends,” she said.
Their solemnisation ceremony took place at Puncak Rimba, in Bentong, Pahang, yesterday evening.
