KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha may have done Bollywood dances with her leading men in comedies as Anak Mami Kembali, but she recently came under fire doing so with her brother on social media.
A Bollywood-themed Instagram photo which Fasha, 34, uploaded yesterday landed her a barrage of brickbats from Netizens.
Captioned "my little brother, my Shah Rukh Khan", it showed Fasha wrapping in the arms of her younger brother Ikmal Daniel, 21, in a sexually suggestive pose.
Both of them were stylishly dressed in orange North Indian traditional costumes, and their pose bore an uncanny resemblance to a dance scene involving Fasha and comedian Saiful Apek in Anak Mami Kembali, directed by Datuk A.

The controversial photo, which garnered 56,373 likes and 626 comments turned out to be one of several social media shots that highlighted her visit to businessman Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman's birthday party on Tuesday.
The party's theme was Bollywood and Fasha's “date” for the evening was radio announcer Ikmal.
Among the critics of the photo was Shaf who said: "Oh God! This looks so forbidden!"
Dirah agreed and said: "Fasha, please don't do this. Siblings must know their boundaries. You should always consult religious teachers first."
Another Netizen Talia slammed Fasha. "She's so desperate for attention that she'd even make use of her younger brother."
However, many Netizens defended Fasha's actions.
"She's a model and actress. Relax guys, it's all for show," said Shafiqa Nabila.
"We should stop being petty and extremist. Fasha has every right to be zany once in a while," said Sofi.
Xyrra said: "Guys, please stop passing judgement on Fasha and her brother. We are all human and should not play God!"
Fasha declined to comment on the criticisms she received. "So sorry I'm not going to comment on this. Thank you," she told
