KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Fasha Sandha believes that "earnings do not matter" when it comes to finding love.
She said that even if a wife earns more than her husband, she should still recognise him as the head of the family.
"In my case, I may earn more than my husband, but he is still my leader in the family and whenever we disagree, I let him have the final say," said Fasha in a Harian Metro report yesterday.
Fasha also said that it was not fair for netizens to jump to conclusions about the longevity of celebrity couples.
"It is true that several celebrity couples have come to an end of late, but it's not true that they mostly do.
"In fact there are many celebrity couples which are stronger than ever, and many non-celebrity couples have also ended in divorce or break-ups," said Fasha.
Fasha, who is married to actor Aidil Aziz, also said that every marriage was a "loan" from God and whether it lasted or otherwise, was God's will.
"Husbands and wives should do their best to stay together, and leave the rest to God."
On another note, Fasha said that she was happy to win Popular Film Actress in Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 36 (ABPBH 36) again.
She narrowly beat actresses Amelia Henderson, Isyariana Che Azmi, Janna Nick and Uqasha Senrose to win the award.
"It came as a pleasant surprise to me, as I had widely expected my juniors to win. Thank you so much, friends and fans for voting me," she said.
Fasha's last major win in ABPBH was in 2011, when she took home the Popular TV Actress award.
