KUALA LUMPUR: Netizens can have sharp tongues at times. But certain instances are uncalled for as actress Elizad Sharifuddin discovered recently.
Apparently a certain rude individual had likened her body to a flat wooden plank.
In a post on her Twitter account yesterday, the 34-year-old KLite, who is also a singer, fired back with: "You want to insult me on other things, alright. Just don’t touch on my family and my physical appearance, ok?"
Elizad added: "Being skinny like a plank is also something that God has given me. Is your mouth that ‘pretty’ then? Ok you can go be famous for your insulting mouth."
The actress, whose full name is Siti Elizad Mohamad Sharifuddin, also included an Instagram profile shot of the insulting offender who goes by the name Melly Mel.
Apparently this sordid individual had left the nasty comment on Elizad's IG, where she wrote:
“Elizad’s body is like a really skinny, flat plank with no shape at all, haha."
This naturally got the My Darling, Inspektor Daniel and Lembing Awang Pulang Ke Dayang actress fuming.
In response she also expressed that the reason the person wrote that offending comment was due to a lack of proper education.
Elizad added: "Thank you for the insult, though I fear that God could take back whatever Grace that's been bestowed on you. At least I don't insult people. Hopefully God will bless you."
