KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Anuar Zain has requested for the public to not speculate and write negative statements online with regards to the unfortunate domestic situation that has befallen his sister, singer Ziana Zain.
The Keabadian Cinta, Sedetik Lebih and Bila Resah hitmaker said that it was very rude of Netizens to simply write anything they liked without thinking of the consequences.
“Sometimes these Netizens just write whatever on their social media accounts without verifying any of the facts and I feel that they’re being very rude. They like to write nonsense and go overboard with it. Please show some respect to my sister who is currently going through a very tough and challenging period in her life,” he said in a news report today.
The 48-year-old singer also added that he was astounded by his elder sister’s ability to stay strong despite being in a troubled marriage for almost two decades.
“My sister is a very loyal woman. I know her true heart. Her children are also very much closer to her because she is a very loving person.
“If she’s angry she only shows a little of it, not to the point where the kids would get scared. And no matter how busy my sister is with all of her work, she would still make sure to have time for her children,” he said.
Yesterday, Anuar accompanied Ziana to the Syariah Lower Court in Shah Alam for the mention of her divorce case with husband, Armin Zaharin Ahmad Zambri, after she had filed for a divorce on April 3 this year.
