KUALA LUMPUR: With Hari Raya less than a couple of weeks away, some early birds would already be thinking of the heady task of packing for the annual balik kampung tradition.
Award-winning actor Que Haidar took to his Instagram , account yesterday to express his admiration for his wife Linda Jasmine who has the challenge of dealing with the family’s “baggage”.
In the lengthy and at times funny post, the 39-year-old father-of-three wrote that organising and packing the clothes was a truly challenging job for his wife.
He added that his beloved spouse would be required to be in a good mood and calm frame of mind, in addition to having an optimum amount of time, in order to carry out the work properly.
Lots of different Raya attire would be needed for the different days, from the cooking session on the eve and the morning of Raya, right up to the night and beyond.
The post received over 4,000 likes with many commenting on the hilarity while agreeing with the Lagenda Budak Setan, Papadom and Castello actor’s predicament.
Born in Felda Taib Andak, Kulai in Johor, Que, whose real name is Tengku Iskhan Shah Tengku Haidar, further wrote that aside from the various tudung to be coupled to the selected series of outfits, there would also be all the different accessories to go with the 20 pairs of baju Melayu that have been ironed.
He added: “This doesn’t include the fans, mattresses, pillows, extensions, electric mosquito repellent and other bed-related necessities to ensure that the whole family enjoys good sleep while away.”
