ACTRESS Fauziah Ahmad Daud, better known as Ogy, recently shared a humorous recollection from the filming of the classic movie 'Ali Setan' nearly 40 years ago.
During the shoot in Penang, Ogy recalled how she managed to hug the late actor Azmil Mustapha, which became a memorable moment on the set.
Ogy, who starred alongside Azmil, revealed that before filming a scene where she had to hug him on a motorbike, she sought permission from Azmil's wife, Rozi.
"Azmil was always considerate and a true family man. He often brought his family to the filming locations," Ogy said.
"I asked Rozi for permission to hug him, and she jokingly said, 'Go ahead, I'm too lazy to hug him!'"
In a recent audio interview on the Legasi Podcast, Ogy also praised Azmil's professionalism and light-hearted nature.
"Azmil was always disciplined on the set and never complained, no matter the circumstances.
"He was focused when needed but could also be incredibly funny.
"When he was in a playful mood, he was truly one of a kind," she said.
'Ali Setan', a beloved romantic comedy directed by the late Tan Sri Jins Shamsuddin, was released in 1985. The film also starred Ebby Saiful, Datuk Shah Rezza, Liza Abdullah and others.
