KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial actress-turned-entrepreneur Zarina Anjoulie has come under fire from Netizens for her latest “rapid fire” attack on nefrologist Dr Rafidah Abdullah.
Zarina slammed Dr Rafidah on Instagram yesterday, for pointing out to a Netizen that a health and beauty spray and gel manufactured by her company was a “waste of money”.
The Netizen told Dr Rafidah that there were many “rubbish” health and beauty products in the market, and asked her to give an example, to which the doctor cited Zarina’s spray and gel.
Zarina saw red, and slammed Dr Rafidah with a strongly-worded statement on Instagram.
She said: “Condemn all you want, but what is your solution and contribution to society? It’s better if you share tips on how we entrepreneurs can improve the quality of our products. As an educated person you should use your knowledge to help us develop better quality products instead of condemning our products.”
Among the Netizens who criticised Zarina was @sasararawr who said: “Creating awareness is what the doctor is doing, and it is part of her job. You just talk before you think!”
Panda said: “Dr Zarina, please take legal action against her for such defamation.”

Zalina is known to be outspoken on social media, and last week, she slammed Netizens who went into debt simply for spending on expensive handbags.
Last month she jokingly said on Instagram that Malaysians were among the best “lifters”, who not only wore imitation fashion and tudung (headscarf) brands, but “also stole spouses”.
