KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Zarina Anjoulie denies claims she is in a relationship with a social media content creator.
She said that although they were often seen together, they were only close friends.
"We are just good friends who have known each other for a long time.
"All I can say is, we are not in love. Just as close friends and getting to know each other," she said in an Utusan Malaysia report today.
Rumours that the two were romantically involved surfaced as they were often seen together and showing affection on social media.
The 37-year-old artiste, who is of Malay, Scottish and Iranian descent, was once married to Bruneian, Pangiran Mohd Ilham Syazwan.
They have a son, Awangku Gabriel Martin Ezra.
The actress then married Eilyas Azhar in 2020 but divorced a year later.
Last year, Zarina was briefly engaged to businessman, Datuk Khazrul Elzey.
