KUALA LUMPUR: After its successful reunion and 20th anniversary concert held here last month, pop and R&B group Ruffedge is heading to Singapore next month for a one-night-only concert.
The all-male group comprising Cat Farish, Zain Hamid, Azan Addin, Amir Munawer, Sein and Mode, will be entertaining its Singaporean fans at Zepp@BIGBOX.
The outfit, formed in 1988, was disbanded a decade later and saw its members embarking on solo projects.
Last month’s concert at KL Live is proof that the group, whose popular hits like Tipah Tertipu, Khayalan and Lemas, still has what it takes.
“After that performance, we received lots of feedback from fans. Come to think of it, we’re lucky to even have people wanting to see us perform,” said Azzan, 44, in a recent news report.
He is also thrilled when informed that half of the tickets for the Lion City concert have been snapped up.
