#SHOWBIZ: Chef Wan remains my 'papa' says Shikin Maembong

KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrity chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail or Chef Wan's former daughter-in-law, entrepreneur and social media influencer Shikin Maembong, remains on "great terms" with him despite her recent remarriage.

Shikin, 41, said in a Harian Metro report yesterday that Chef Wan had always accepted her and treated her like his own daughter.

"I still call Chef Wan Papa, and I also get along with my former husband. Everything is okay, thank God," said Shikin.

"And this also means that my children are his grandchildren."

Shikin, who was previously married to Chef Wan's son Chef Riz or Muhammad Nazri Redzuawan, added that the chef also got along great with her singer-actor husband Cat Farish of Ruffedge fame.

Cat and Shikin were married on July 14 last year.

"We all get along great, there is no jealousy or anything. In fact, Papa was very happy to meet Cat and enjoys having chats with him," said Shikin.

Cat, 50, said that he greatly enjoyed the company of Chef Wan.

"We are both close to our families from our first marriages," he said.

Last Hari Raya Aidiladha, Shikin uploaded a video of her family and Chef Wan at his residence.

Netizens praised her for getting along great with her former husband and father-in-law.
