KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nora Danish is a proud mum as her eldest son Putra Rayqal Ramli is now marking a new, important chapter in his life.
Putra Rayqal, 12, has just joined the prestigious boarding school Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar (KTJ) in Nilai, Seremban, Negri Sembilan, and Nora is confident that he will adapt well and excel in his studies there.
However, the 39-year-old artiste revealed in an Instagram Story yesterday that she was also sad to "let him go" and will miss him dearly.
"School is not very far from where we live. My dearest son Putra Rayqal is not going as far as London. Yet I feel so sad letting him go," said Nora.
The Polis Evo star also uploaded a video of herself holding Putra Rayqal's hand tightly as she helped him unpack his bag in his hostel room.
In its caption she said: "I don't want to go home, I want to work here!"
Nora added that Putra Rayqal was her strength and reason for what she is today.
"Mummy is going to miss you a lot. I don't know if I can handle this but I have got to be strong for you."
Rayqal is the son of Nora and her first husband Rizal Ramli. They were married from 2006 to 2008.
Nora also has a three-year-old son Neqayl Nedim or Ney Ney, with her second husband, businessman Nedim Nazri, whom she married in 2017.
