GEORGE TOWN: Netizens are demanding that the authorities act against a luxury multi-purpose vehicle driver caught on video driving dangerously two days ago.
In the 80-second video, uploaded onto the Penang Idiot Parking & Reckless Driver Facebook page, a car was seen being driven in the rain along a near-empty road.
Suddenly, an MPV drove into its path, going the wrong way on a one-way street.
The driver honked while the MPV driver flashed its headlights.
The driver did not move, prompting the MPV driver to ultimately reverse his car.
Although no location was mentioned, it was learnt the incident happened along Jalan Macalister.
The incident was captured on the dashcam of the car.
According to the posting, the MPV was an outstation car with the prefix 'S'.
The posting was accompanied by the caption:
"Please don't drink after driving, you totally drive like after drinking, I would really like to report to JPJ (Road Transport Department) with this video.
"It's kind of funny you hit the tree when reversing, karma is real."
Several netizens tagged police in the comment section.
Police, however, have yet to receive information about the matter.
