KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor has given birth to a baby boy named Muhammad Bilal Muhammad Haris.
In a media statement today, her husband PU Riz, whose full name is Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail, 26, said that his 32-year-old wife had delivered their firstborn on Saturday at 3.44pm.
"Praise be to God, my wife is recuperating and it's definitely a joyous phase for the entire family now.
"On behalf of Neelofa, I'd like to express my gratitude for all of your prayers and good wishes for us since we became husband and wife and now parents to this healthy baby," he wrote.
"Please continue to pray that our son will grow to be a good citizen and a righteous Muslim."
Neelofa and PU Riz tied the knot on March 27 last year.
