KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian actress Laudya Cynthia Bella has decided to retire from show business.
In a recent report by Indonesia's Liputan6 portal, the 34-year-old popular artiste had been considering doing so for sometime now.
"Please pray for me. God-willing, after my last appearance in the film Buya Hamka, which is scheduled for screening next year, I won't be appearing in anymore productions after this.
"I need to learn and explore many other things, which is part of my pursuit to search for success in both this world and hereafter. I hope I'll be guided by Him in this journey," she said.
This announcement came shortly after she was rumoured to have married a man from Dubai, UAE, following a video which went viral on social media recently.
Her manager Rita however denied rumour.
Laudya was previously married to Malaysian businessman Engku Emran between 2017 and 2020.
