#Showbiz: OneRepublic to rock Malaysia in March next year

KUALA LUMPUR: Grammy-nominated American pop rock band OneRepublic will be entertaining Malaysians in a concert at Hall 5 in the KL Convention Centre here on March 1.

The upcoming show is part of the group's OneRepublic Live in Concert Asia tour that will also see the band performing in Singapore, Bangkok, Taipei and Tokyo.  

Fan club pre-sale tickets will begin on Sept 27, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale session on Sept 28.

General public tickets will be made available from Sept 29. Tickets are priced at RM388 (Free Standing).

OneRepublic comprises of singer-songwriter and lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keyboardist Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle and drummer Eddie Fisher.

The band released its debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007, which spawned the worldwide smash hit, Apologize.

Its sophomore effort from 2009, Waking Up, produced the hit singles All The Right Moves, Secrets and Good Life.

The certified-platinum album Native followed in 2013, featuring the No.1 hit and 41 million selling single, Counting Stars.

The band which has amassed over 5 billion streams on Spotify to date, also released its fourth full-length album, Oh My My, in 2016.

OneRepublic's latest album, Human, dropped on Aug 27, 2021. It featured singles, Someday, Run, Somebody To Love, Wanted, Didn't I, Better Days and Rescue Me, that have garnered a combined total of over 2.5 billion global streams.

The boys recently released new single, I Ain't Worried, was featured in the Hollywood box office hit, Top Gun: Maverick.
