#Showbiz: Hire carefully, Fazura reminds childcare centre owners

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin has told childcare centre workers and owners that if they cannot fulfill their responsibilities in looking after children, they should look for other jobs.

Feeling disappointed and annoyed with some irresponsible caregivers, the 39-year-old took to TikTok to share her two sen on the matter.

"Lately, there are many cases reported in the media about child abuse happening at such centres. Please, if you don't think you're up for the role, go find other jobs," she said in the video.

She added that it was disheartening for parents who shower their offspring with love, but within a short span of time at childcare centres, they end up with injured or traumatised children.

Fazura added: "As a mother myself, even I feel the pain reading about such news. To all those centre owners, please hire those who are sincere and those who love children."
