#Showbiz: Please respect Nabila's sensitivity, says Sharnaaz Ahmad

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Sharnaaz Ahmad has urged netizens to respect the privacy and sensitivity of his former wife Noor Nabila Mohd Noor as she is "a married woman".

Sharnaaz, 38, said that netizens should stop intruding into the lives of Nabila and her husband, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin, as they have a "human right to privacy".

"It's regrettable that certain people using TikTok have uploaded videos that showed Nabila and I during our days together. Please stop it as it will hurt her feelings and the feelings of her husband Engku Emran," said Sharnaaz in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday.

Sharnaaz said that even though he was not pointing fingers at any individual, he opposed all acts which "did not respect one's private space".

"In a way I am glad that our fans still remember our days together. That means they still love us. But things have changed and we have moved on."

Sharnaaz admitted that he and Nabila got along great and were a "team" in raising their 5-year-old son Jebat Jayden Ahmad. Sharnaaz and Nabila were married between March 31, 2017 and July 9, 2020.

Nabila and Engku Emran were married on March 19, 2021.

Sharnaaz will appear as the main antagonist of action film Polis Evo 3 directed by Syafiq Yusof. It premieres in cinemas on May 25.
