KUALA LUMPUR: War On Terror: KL Anarki star Aedy Ashraf has "no problems" with fellow actor Sharnaaz Ahmad uploading a recent photo he took with actress Amelia Henderson on Instagram.
Aedy, who is in a relationship with Pulau star Amelia, said in an interview with Harian Metro yesterday that it was "perfectly okay" for Sharnaaz to praise Amelia's acting talent and pose for a publicity photo with her.
"There will always be netizens who 'speculate' things, but as far as I'm concerned, seeing Amelia and Sharnaaz together in a photo is not a problem at all," said Aedy.
"In fact, I welcome her team-up with Sharnaaz in any television drama series, they act well together. I want to give them both the thumbs up for a job well done."
Aedy described Sharnaaz as a good friend in the entertainment industry, and the Penang-born actor was like an elder brother to him.
"He is a frank, honest and helpful gentleman. We often communicate on Instagram during our free time."
Sharnaaz recently uploaded a photo with Amelia, and they were wearing matching black outfits.
Some netizens criticised Sharnaaz for "not respecting" Aedy by posing with Amelia.
