KUALA LUMPUR: Singaporean comedian Kumar will be entertaining fans in Malaysia with his own brand of humour during his Kumarsutra: Greatest Hits tour next month.
The popular stand-up artiste will be staging his show at the Setia Spice Convention Centre in Penang on Oct 14, Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur (Oct 25 & 26) and the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House in Johor Bahru (Oct 28 & 29).
Widely known for poking fun at all things controversial whilst deeply respecting local cultural ethos with his own unique flavour of commentary on everyday idiosyncrasies, the show will be a curated compilation of new and old material refined over thousands of performances.
The upcoming shows, organised by LOL Asia, will also contribute towards fundraising for Yellow House.
The Malaysian NGO is dedicated to improve the lives of the homeless, the urban poor and refugee communities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
"I love performing for Malaysians as they laugh the biggest, the hardest, the loudest.
"With this tour, I hope and believe they will also give from the heart with their full participation towards the shows, so we can laugh together and entertain for a noble cause," said the talented comedian with a career spanning three decades in a recent statement.
