KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Norman Hakim, 47, has apologised to fans and Netizens for the recent controversy involving his 18-year-old daughter Marissa Dania Hakim.
In an Instagram post yesterday, the Tanda Putera star said that the matter had been resolved behind closed doors and would serve as a lesson to his family.
"Thank you everyone for your concern. We will take this episode as a lesson and be wiser from it," he said.
Norman also said that he and his family accepted the brickbats of Netizens who hit out at Marissa, his former wife Gerak Khas actress Abby Abadi and himself when a young woman alleged that Marissa "wrecked" her three-year marriage.
"We accept this as constructive criticism for self-improvement," he said.
Last Thursday the anonymous woman claimed on X that Marissa was the "third party" who caused her husband to divorce her after three years of marriage.
Marissa later apologised to fans for the controversy on Instagram, and urged them not to blame her parents Norman and Abby for what had happened.
