PUTRAJAYA: The three-day Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH) ended with a bang featuring a star-studded concert that lined up some of the country's most popular new singers.
Konsert Jom Heboh took place at 9pm in the parking area of Precinct 3 here today, and the massive crowd was entertained for two hours by artistes Khai Bahar, Ara Johari, Marsha Milan, Floor 88, Lan Solo and Wani Kayrie.
They performed some of their best known hit songs, including Raya-themed ones, and these included Khai's Macam Dulu-Dulu, Ara's Bunga, Marsha's Cinta, Floor 88's Hutang, Lan's Seragam Hitam (Getaran) and Wani's Jom Balik Raya.
"I'm so happy to be back in Konsert Jom Heboh a concert that is close to the people. Let's all do this more often," said Khai.
"It's the best way to end the Raya month with a blast. I'm really enjoying myself here," said Wani.
More than 140,000 people attended the two-night concert, which was co-hosted by Media Prima television hosts Farah Nabilah Wazer, Hanif Miswan and Amirulhakim Lokman.
Saturday's concert showcased equally electrifying performances from Puteri Khareeza, Aina Abdul, Shiha Zikir, Baggio, Sarah Suhairi & Alfie Zumi, and Aisha Retno.
Organised by Media Prima Bhd, KJH Putrajaya was opened from 10am to midnight, offering various family activities and sales of food and other products.
Various activities were also held at the New Straits Times Press (NSTP) booth in KJH, including lucky draws and the distribution of goodie bags.
Visitors also got to celebrate Hari Raya a host of celebrities, including Ezzanie Jasny, Azah Aziz, Muaz Zabir, Raden Zaharatul, Puteri Khareeza, Arena Wan, Adam Shahz, Aqmal Ramdan, Lan Solo and Kumpulan Suara.
Visitors also got up close with Nasi Lemak Kopi O hosts Erra Fazira, Fakhrul Radhi, Fizo Omar, Barr Zaizan, and Affizza Azmi. Additionally, Studio Tonton Drama Sangat kept visitors busy with a colouring contest, baju Raya contest for children, karaoke Raya contest, and ketupat-eating contest.
TV3 and TV9 also organised the Buletin Challenge with their newscasters Asri Badrun, Intan Syazwina, Farah Nabilah and Asrulnizam Kadir.
NSTP's dinosaur exhibit, Dino Land was a hit with visitors who experienced the prehistoric era, witnessed various dinosaurs come to life and took pictures with them.
There was also Jom Lokal Jam, a platform for those who wanted to express themselves musically, and discover their hidden talents. More than 200,000 guests attended the 3-day carnival.
