KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Amar Baharin is relieved to receive clarification from the Selangor Land and Mines Office (PTGS) on the matter of his family's land having overlapping title owners.
In a news report yesterday, the 38-year-old artiste added that he still needed to wait for the issue to be fully resolved before making any further statements on the case.
"I can only rest and be thankful when this issue has been fully settled.
"However, I still haven't got any final answer regarding this. There are still ownership processes which have to be completed first," he said in the report.
"Currently, I haven't been contacted by any relevant party. If what has been promised comes true, I'd be very grateful," shared Amar of the problem faced by his mother over the past 13 years.
He was commenting on the explanation given by PTGS, which said that the problem had been the result of a technical issue during the manual charting process onto a litho sheet by the technical unit of the Hulu Langat District and Land Office after a double application was approved by the state executive council in 1978 and 1995.
Last month, Amar took to social media to share the problem faced by his mother, hoping that it would get the attention of relevant authorities in expediting a solution to the problem.
