#Showbiz: It's still the husband's fault if another woman 'steals' him — Amyra Rosli

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Amyra Rosli has never checked her actor husband Amar Baharin's handphone ever since they got married eight years ago.

Amyra, 33, said that their marriage was based on trust and they respected each other's privacy, according to a Harian Metro report yesterday.

"As a wife and mother it is always my responsibility to take good care of my husband and our children," she said.

The host of TV3 women's magazine Nona also said that martial problems faced by her fellow artistes were costly lessons to be learned.

"If such things happen, they'll still happen even if we try hard to stop them," she said.

"The most we can do is to respect each other and seek God's guidance."

Amyra also said that no woman would "wreck" a man's marriage unless he allowed her to do so.

"It takes two hands to clap whenever an extramarital affair happens."

Amyra said there was nothing wrong with artistes airing their marital problems on social media because such artistes might not have close friends or family members to confide in.

"As for me, I always believe in resolving family problems amicably behind closed doors."

Amyra and Amar, 38, were married on Nov 11, 2016.

They have two children Aqeef Anaqi, 7, and Ayra Aryssa, 5.
