KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 40, has denied speculation that her marriage to actor Fattah Amin has been facing trouble.
In an interview with Berita Harian yesterday, the Gol Dan Gincu star said that she was surprised by such speculation, and insisted that she and Fattah were "okay".
"Some of my friends messaged me recently to ask if Fattah and I were okay.
"I understand the concern of friends and fans, as it's been a long time since we've seen each other together.
"But everything's okay with us," said Nur Fazura.
Even though they have not been seen together on social media for sometime, Nur Fazura said that she and Fattah had agreed not to show affection in public out of solidarity with the Palestinians.
"We limit posts showing affection on social media these days.
"That is because we were deeply moved by the suffering of the Palestinian people. So, we don't think it's necessary to show our happiness on social media," she said.
Nur Fazura, however, has a private social media account to share her personal life.
Earlier, several fans claimed that Nur Fazura and Fattah's marriage was in trouble.
This began a month ago, when they did not leave comments or likes on their respective social media accounts.
Fattah and Nur Fazura were married in November 2017 and have a four-year-old daughter Nur Fatima Aisya.
