KUALA LUMPUR: "I was really surprised when I got invited to be part of this concert," said Elly Mazlein on her involvement in the upcoming Konsert FARMASI Soundzation set to happen on Nov 30.
Despite having been in the industry for close to three decades, the multitalented artiste admitted that this would be her first time performing at a proper concert and with two other popular singers to boot.
Organised by INT X Group, the upcoming concert will see Elly performing with Indonesian singers Bunga Citra Lestari and Ghea Indrawari at Mega Star Arena KL.
"This must be another lucky year for me. I was initially invited to perform at the byAjai & Mega Friends concert, but couldn't accept the offer due to clashing schedules."
"As the saying goes, when a door closes, another opens, and then this offer came around.
"It's not just to sing. I was also offered to be the show's emcee," said the 43-year-old artiste whose full name is Sharifah Aida Mazlina Syed Hanafi.
Elly added: "As this concert involves artistes from two countries, I hope to do my best especially in making both Ghea and BCL feel comfortable during the show."
