KUALA LUMPUR: Influencer Aliff Awang, or Opai, confirmed that his wife, actress Fatin Affefa, had given birth seven months ago.
He took to Instagram yesterday to share the good news, where he briefly gushed about being a new father.
"Beautiful life as a father."
"Been busy all this while only to be spending every minute with my beautiful, intelligent, lively child.
"To a new beginning," he wrote.
In a following post that was accompanied by a video, Opai said that he had to share the news of the birth of his first child after both his mother and wife started making noise about it.
"Tomorrow (today) is our child's aqiqah and only less than 10 people know since we want to remain calm as parents.
"This is our son who is seven months old. Why are we only revealing our child now?
"My mum and Fatin are already making noise because the baby has grown up and has an identity card so we have to say something," he said.
Meanwhile, Fatin also shared a picture of her children with the infant.
Previously, speculation was rife among netizens about the actress being pregnant, followed by more rumours that she had given birth.
The gossip intensified as Fatin was rarely seen to be sharing photos of herself and was seen hiding her tummy when she posted pictures.
Fatin and Opai tied the knot in December 2022.
The actress has two children from her previous marriage, Adam Aisy Arrian and Ivy Herra Sophia.
