KUALA LUMPUR: Tomorrow will be the deciding moment in the marriage of celebrity couple Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura.
BuletinTV3 reported that the second hearing of Fazura's divorce application against Fattah is expected to take place at 9am at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Subang Jaya, following a two-week adjournment granted by the court.
Previously, the court postponed the divorce proceedings after receiving a proposal from the respondent, who wished to resolve the matter amicably.
During the first hearing on Sept 25, Fattah, whose full name is Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin, 33, refused to divorce 41-year-old Fazura, citing his continuing love for her, while Fazura remained resolute in her desire to end the marriage.
To demonstrate his affection for Fazura, whose full name is Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, Fattah sent her a bouquet of flowers, a cake and a greeting card for her birthday on Sept 27.
Despite the marital turmoil, Fattah continues to pray for his wife to find happiness in her life.
On Sept 13, Fazura filed for divorce against Fattah at the Petaling Lower Syariah Court.
Details regarding the divorce were not specified, but it surprised many. To date, the situation between Fazura and Fattah remains unclear.
Fazura and Fattah were married on Nov 27, 2017. They have a 4-year-old daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
