#SHOWBIZ: 'Heavenly King' Andy Lau gives Malaysians yet another magical show [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Cantopop singer and actor Andy Lau Tak Wah captivated Malaysians once again during the first night of his four-concert series at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Dressed in stylish suits, the 64-year-old superstar performed 24 of his popular songs, including Today, Thanks For Your Love, Wandering Songstress, Love You For 10,000 Years, and Not A Crime For A Man To Cry.

His concert, titled Today Is The Day, began at 8pm.

Lau last performed in Malaysia five years ago but visits regularly, as his wife is Malaysian.

"I love Malaysia; it's my second home, and it's always great to sing in Kuala Lumpur, where I have some of my strongest fans," he said.

Throughout his 39-year career, Lau has released 62 studio albums, including 20 Mandarin ones.

The concerts continue at 8pm on Saturday and Sunday, as part of his ongoing World Tour, which began in Hong Kong last July and has also included stops in China, Macau, and Singapore.

As one of Asia's biggest entertainers, Lau has been active in showbiz since 1981, starring in 185 films and 28 television series, and has won over 300 music and film awards.

His notable films include Running Out Of Time (1999), A Fighter's Blues (2000), Running On Karma (2003), Infernal Affairs III (2003), Protege (2007), and A Simple Life (2011).
