KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrity couple Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle refrained from commenting on their rujuk (reconciliation) confirmation proceedings at the Federal Territories Syariah Lower Court today.
When approached by the media after the session, Diana described the experience as difficult, clarifying that her smile should not be misinterpreted.
"This is not a happy moment for anyone," she told Berita Harian.
"I smiled because I know the media members here, many of whom are like friends. Please don't misunderstand."
Farid, on the other hand, briefly addressed the situation, focusing on his communication with their children.
"Alhamdulillah, there is no issue about seeing them. I got to meet with the children as usual. We met today, and they were okay," he said.
During the proceedings, Syarie Judge Abdul Fattah Datuk Kamarudin confirmed Farid and Diana's status as husband and wife.
Both parties acknowledged the decision in court.
The judge set Dec 2 as the next date for Diana, the plaintiff, to submit documents related to the rujuk confirmation to proceed with the divorce.
