SOCIAL media influencer Agy, previously known as Affizy Khairy, has returned to his roots in music after years away from the spotlight.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Muhammad Affizy Mohd Khairy, began his career as a singer and released four singles under his former stage name.
However, his efforts at the time garnered little attention.
"I started as a singer before becoming an influencer. Back then, things didn't work out for me, but I saw it as a matter of timing, not failure," he told 'Harian Metro'.
Now rebranded as Agy, he has released a new pop single, 'Uno Dos Tres', under Sony Music Malaysia.
Created by renowned composers Mas Dewangga and Jova Devito, the song reflects Agy's creative vision and his desire to stand out.
The Latin-inspired title was chosen to reflect a unique aspect of his image, as some fans have speculated about his connection to Latin culture.
"This song encourages self-confidence and resilience.
"People may not always support us, but we should continue pursuing our dreams, overcoming challenges, and staying true to ourselves," he said.
For Agy, returning to music offers a deeply fulfilling experience.
"Performing on stage and embodying characters through music gives me a unique kind of satisfaction.
