KUALA LUMPUR: The 2nd edition of the All Star Influencers Award (ASIA) saw popular Indonesian social media influencer Saal Haerid winning the top award of Best Social Media Influencer at the ASIA 2024 gala night held at the Flamingo Hotel, here last night.
Saal received a cash prize of USD 10,000, an exclusive trophy, and a luxurious holiday package to Dubai.
In addition to the main award, Saal also won the Best Content Creation award, earning him an extra trophy and USD 1,000 in cash.
The second-place winner, Abyan Calief, also from Indonesia, received USD 5,000 in cash, while Malaysian influencer Imranul Effendi secured third place with a USD 3,000 cash prize.
Each of the two winners also took home a trophy and holiday package to Dubai.
Meanwhile, the Best Editing category was awarded to Herony from the Philippines, while the Best Food Review Content accolade went to Indonesian influencer Abyan Calief, recognised for his creativity and originality.
The Best Storyteller award was won by Berliana from Indonesia, while the highly anticipated People's Choice Award went to Malaysian influencer Ananda Natasha, chosen through fan and follower votes.
In the fashion category, Best Male Attire was awarded to Thebang from Vietnam, while Tikaola from Indonesia won the Best Female Attire, impressing the judges with her elegant and creative style.
The Best Dance Performance category was won by the Vladd siblings from Indonesia.
Each category winner received a trophy and USD 1,000 in cash.
The ASIA2024 gala night was graced by over 60 social media influencers from nine countries, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Attendees were treated to spectacular performances by well-known celebrities such as Bella Astillah, Yonnyboii, and the 53 Studio group.
The event, hosted by popular personalities Dina Nadzir and Asyraf Nasir, was part of a four-day programme organised by Aston Creative to celebrate talent and creativity in digital content creation.
A total of 13 award categories were presented, recognising individuals and groups who have made a significant impact on the Asian social media scene.
Adding to the excitement, the social media content tagged with #AllStarInfluencersAward2023 amassed a staggering 242.5 million global views.
