MALACCA: A 55-year-old lorry driver was crushed to death after being struck by a 25-tonne metal crane that fell at the back of the Mahkota Parade shopping complex here, today.
Anas Tawi was killed on the spot in the 5.35am incident.
It is believed that the lorry driver was waiting to collect rubbish at the back of the shopping complex when the machine suddenly fell and crushed on him.
Acting Melaka Tengah district police chief, Superintendent Razali Abu Bakar confirmed the incident.
