KUALA LUMPUR: The Manjung 4 coal-fired power plant in Manjung, Perak, owned by Tenaga Nasional Bhd, will start operations in early August this year, earlier than scheduled. The Manjung 4 station, which is 98 per cent complete, was slated to start operations on August 31 this year, with generation capacity of 1,000 megawatts.
