MACC senior officers reinstated

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission directors Datuk Bahri Mohamad Zin and Datuk Rohaizad Yaakob will not be transferred to the Prime Minister’s Department.

The duo will be remain at the commission said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.

Bahri the special operations director and Rohaizad the strategic communications division director were informed of their new posting last Friday.

“Both the MACC officers will not be transferred and remain in their current position,” said Shahidan in a text message.

Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa in statement said he discussed with the two officers on their transfers.

“After listening to their explanation on their action of making media statement, I have decided to cancel their transfers to the Prime Minister's Department and resume their original duties in MACC effective today," he added.
