KUALA LUMPUR: Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Damansara was ranked the number one school in Kuala Lumpur based on this year's Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) results.
81 out of 178 candidates of the school managed to get straight As, an improvement from last year which was 69 straight As from the same number of candidates.
"There are improvements in all but one subject, which is Bahasa Melayu Pemahaman.
"We achieved 100 percent straight As in English, 98.9 percent in Mathematics, 99.4 percent in Science and 98.9 in Bahasa Melayu Penulisan," said the school's headmistress Hazinah Ibrahim.
The School Grade Average for SK Bukit Damansara also saw an improvement from 1.37 last year to 1.34 this year.
"The GPN operates on a decreasing scale where a lower number indicates better achievements."
