Joining him will be Canadian-born Hong Kong actress Aimee Chan, together with local actors Tommy Kuan and Daphne Low.

On Saturday, To and Low will be in Penang. Locations of their visit are Megamall Pinang Concourse (3.30pm), Queensbay Mall Central Atrium (5.30pm), Gurney Plaza (7.30pm) and the Kwong Wah Carnival (10pm).

The actor has been in Malaysia since last month as part of a promotional tour for his latest film, Let's Eat, which also marks his directorial debut.

In the film, To plays Dai Hung, the head chef of Ah Yong cafe where he must work with the cafe owner's daughter, Rosemary (Chan), in order to save its reputation.

The light-hearted comedy also features cameo appearances by some well-known stars in the region, including Singapore's actor-comedian, Mark Lee.

Earlier today, To paid a surprise visit to the New Straits Times office in Bangsar. The actor presented a Chinese New Year hamper to the editors and posed for photographs with the staff.

Let's Eat opens in cinemas nationwide on Feb 4.
