PM Najib chairs cabinet meeting in Kuching

KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak arrived at Wisma Bapa Malaysia at 9.30am today to chair the weekly cabinet meeting, which is being held here.

He arrived alone and was greeted by Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem.

The closed-door meeting began at 10am and is expected to last about three hours.

Najib, who was on his rounds in Sarawak for the state polls is scheduled to attend a gathering with People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) members at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), at 3pm today.

Among those present include at the meeting include Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani and other state cabinet ministers.
